This weeks slate of games are fun but challenging. The early games Sunday start off with a battle for the final spot in the NFC playoff picture, the Vikings in Tampa to face the Bucs. The Vikings come in off of a last second win against a terrible Jaguars team , just two weeks after losing to a depleted Cowboys team. I just don’t think the Vikings are very good this season and if I’ve learned anything in sports it’s don’t bet against Tom Brady after the bye week. Brady’s teams are 13-4 after the bye week. Bucs roll Minnesota, Tampa -6.5. The Giants will welcome a struggling 6-6 Cardinals team who are a Deandre Hopkins Hail Mary catch away from losing 5 straight. The Giants come off their most impressive win of the season in a 17-12 victory over the Seahawks. The G Men stay hot and cover the 3 points. Giants +3. The Bears quarterbacks stink........Houston -1. The late window starts with the Jalen Hurts led Eagles at home against the Taysom Hill and the Saints. Who would of guessed the two quarterbacks in this game before the season started?
The Eagles just are not a good football team on either side of the ball. The defense is now allowing over 25 points a game, while the offense is only scoring 21 points. I do believe replacing Wentz will give the offense a spark and Taysom Hill is getting more comfortable in the Saints offense. I like the over here over 42.5. The 49ers defense got trashed last week by Josh Allen and his 4 TD passes And the Washington offense seems to be hitting its stride scoring 64 points in the last two weeks combined. The Washington football teams confidence should also be high after knocking off the undefeated Steelers last week. Washington will be without it’s top running back, Antonio Gibson, but possible comeback player of the year Alex Smith should be able to love the ball against the 9ers D. Washington +3.5. The Sunday Night Football game puts two of the top teams in the AFC against each other. The Steelers rush offense has been terrible, so terrible they don’t even use it anymore. They should get no 1 RB James Connor back for the game, but he’s been held to less than 85 yards in his last 5 games while only scoring 1 touchdown over that stretch. The Steelers are also a little banged up on the defensive side of the football now that CB Joe Haden and LB Robert Spillane have been ruled out. I think the Bills dominate the Steelers from start to finish and win big. Lock of the Week Bills -1.5.
