Keep in mind that your character will freezes after a fight if you have a high frame rate in this game. So in this tutorial we are going to cap your FPS at 60 with Nvidia control Panel and the Screen refresh rate + screen resolution (Fix 1).
Hi guys. I have an issue where I am unable to move after combat. I have movement keys set to arrow keys and toggling v-sync on/off in game settings does nothing. I read online that toggling v-sync to on should fix it, yet it does nothing for me. Anyone know what I can do? Help greatly appreciated
Description: Attacking NPC's including Training Dummies result in character being stuck in combat. Unable to use emergency fleet pass, talk to other NPC's, log out, or otherwise. Can only exit game by pressing Alt+F4. Logging in with the same character results in the character still being stuck in combat. And since character is stuck in combat, you are unable to log in any other characters.
Infinite Enemy Spawning (XP farming): On Taris in the Undercity sewers there is a pack of rakghouls that will respawn everytime you save/reload, transit to apartment and back, as well as when you take the nearby ladder up and back down. It is the first room after entering from one of two sewer entrances, the one farthest from the forcefield. Each Rakghoul gives 30 XP and there are five of them (150XP). A highly offensive built character and Carth can clear the pack in a few rounds, transit back for a free heal, and return to repeat.
Submitted by Tri-Edge: Apparently, there is a glitch where after you save your game and leave your ship; everyone on your entire party is replaced by Zaalbaar. It started out as only one character, but eventually spread to your entire party (aside from Revan.) If you reload the game, there is no change. While I love the damned wookie, I would also love to have my other characters back. I'm assuming this glitch is extremely rare, considering I've never heard anyone complain about it before. I'm putting it in this section because while technically, you can proceed; it was a game-breaker for me. I absolutely love the game, but I refuse to play it without the majority of my playable characters; I mean, after all, who wants to progress with most of their top characters replaced?
It happened to me after I: fast traveled from the Dune Sea to the Ebon Hawk (with Juhani and Zaalbaar in my party); tried to travel to Manaan; got attacked by Sith Fighters; all the while randomly hitting buttons to skip through the flying and hyperspace cut scenes. The "Galaxy Droid" offered to take you to any of the maps in the game while stating after you choose "Isn't space flight fun?" In what is supposed to be the cargo hold is yet another swoop and a "Swoop Droid" that is a brown version of T3-M4; which I assume is supposed to allow you to fast travel to locations on the map call considering the comment it makes. Also if you go to the party selection screen, since you have a copy of Zaalbaar following you, the pics of all the characters are gone besides Zalbaar, Juhani, Zalbaar in T3-M4's spot, and Bastila's silhouette (since it was after she left the party on the Leviathan). If you highlight the missing pictures it says in the name box "I'm broken, very very broken."
With the release of the Legacy of the Sith 7.0 expansion, subscribers will be able to choose a second Combat Style for each of their characters. You can switch freely between Combat Styles, provided you are not in a phase or in combat, similar to how respeccing worked in SWTOR 6.0.
The missing characters are John Marston, Abigail and Sadie. As most everyone knows, Marston is the main character in Red Dead Redemption. Learning about his early history with the gang is one of the main hooks in RDR2. An important part of that history is his marriage to Abigail which in turn leads to the events that motivate the plot of Red Dead Redemption. Sadie is the woman rescued in Chapter 1 after her husband is killed.
We understand your concern regarding the missing storyline characters in Red Dead Redemption 2 Story Mode. Please be informed that, if the missions "Polite Society" and "Valentine Style" are failed, restart the mission instead of using the "Retry Checkpoint" option. If you have already completed the mission after using the "Retry Checkpoint" option, they will not be present until the start of Chapter 4. We hope you understand.
As you gain control of your character in the Ebon Hawk after successfully landing your ship in the Star Forge, go towards the exit of the ship and get off. If you want to make any last minute enhancements to your lightsabers, armor, blasters and all that jazz, now is the time to do it. Otherwise, get off of the ship and choose your party.
This method requires liberal use of Force Wave. The idea is that Force Wave knocks Malak back and down each time, giving you the chance to perform one (and sometimes two) actions before he gets up. If you have Force Speed, be certain to cast it on yourself to give you extra time. Here's how the combat should go down after freeing (or absorbing) the captured Jedi souls:
After reading your post I went back and selected my main character (not Carth) and the cut scene showed both Carth and main character running to the ship. The game no longer crashed after the fire fight.
Placing combat on the map itself was a natural consequence of this. This will make it possible to interact with terrain during combat, NPCs will join fights and destruction will linger after combat ends. You can approach enemies from different directions, become surrounded or attempt to use the terrain to your advantage.
In more modern CRPGs, scripted attribute-tests are less wide-spread than you would think. This is probably due to the fact that they often require more complex character development (you need non-combat skills), more storytelling using text (which might turn away certain demographics), and they are often associated with branching narratives (which are more expensive to make).
Combatants do not move freely around the battlefield and combat is not tile-based. Instead the combatants occupy either the front, or rear rank of their formation. The player is of course, free to reorder the party formation during combat to move characters between the front and rear rank.
SKALD is a game engine specifically written for digital gamebooks and interactive novels. The design vision for SKALD has been to create an engine that allows for a strong narrative to be built upon a foundation of classic RPG features (character development, tactical combat, loot etc.) as well as certain rouge-like features (procedural generation). The game engine is designed with a strong separation between data and logic in mind. The reasoning being that it must be possible for a designer with minimal technical expertise to add content. Also keeping all data separate from the logic will allow multiple gamebooks to be published using SKALD without making changes to the engine itself.
So I bought this game. I had to put it into the xbox! Can you believe that? So after I spent a good 10 seconds on putting the game into the machine, I then had to hit the start button. Not to mention that I then had to chose new game! Combat sucks, I was required to hit buttons on my game pad in order to get my character to swing his sword. Who ever heard of such a thing.
I honestly have no clue what your talking about, ive yet to meet any bandits other than the armored ones that had ridiculous healthbars, im pretty sure a 50ft tall cyclops is a good indication of a difficult enemy, fool. All the small enemies werent hard, and if they were then go back and level more, thats what an RPG is, you raise your character, get stronger, and then you move forward. At around level 20 you basically steamroll every enemy you meet. Which is my quipe with the game, that after the initial challenge it gets almost to easy. But this could be fixed with a DLC like Blue Dragons difficulty DLC, and maybe a little more variety in wild mosters, not just meet the hydra once and never see it again, id like to see it slithering around at night when im vulnerable and have the thrill of having to survive it, a monster pack would be nice.
killing the chimera was well hard the combat is shit. i prefer skyrim. its got better combat. i can tank a dragon with my humanoid character by pressing one button while i turn away from the screen to eat cake and drink my tea. f this with its enemies with more hp than me and not dying in 2 button presses. 2b1af7f3a8
